Privacy policy
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising and loads no third-party trackers. We don't know who you are when you read it. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us by email.
Who is responsible
The controller of any personal data handled through this site is the publisher listed in our legal notice, Francisco Javier Mendez Gutierrez. You can reach us at [email protected].
Visit statistics
We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views, referrers, countries and page load times without cookies, without fingerprinting and without storing your IP address. We only see aggregate numbers. Cloudflare's own practices are described in its privacy policy.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks. We do not use that data to identify or profile visitors.
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply and, for corrections, to fix the article. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep the conversation for as long as needed to handle it and for up to two years afterwards, then delete it. We never sell your data or add you to a mailing list.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask us to restrict or transfer it, by writing to [email protected]. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, or to the authority where you live.

Our articles link to vendors and other sources. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, not ours. Some links are affiliate links, as explained in our affiliate disclosure.
Changes
If we ever add advertising or anything else that uses cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before any such cookie is set. The date at the top shows the latest version.
